| Terri Gilgour has been a wonderful realtor and aid in our process of finding a home. As first time home buyers, Terri was very understanding, compliant, informative, and wanted nothing but the best for my husband and me. Although our search was a challenge, Terri never wavered in finding new listings that matched our search criteria. She was always incredibly easy to contact and stay in touch with. She consistently answered emails within minutes, even when I would email late at night or early in the morning. Terri would stop it nothing to answer questions and provide moral support. Through the challenges we faced Terri was particularly sensitive to our struggle. Never once did I think of her as a realty “salesperson”, but rather as someone who was there to treat us like people, not just a pay check. No matter how many times we heard “no” from sellers, Terri insisted on continuing the search with the knowledge something better was out there. She was extremely personable and really helped us endure the hardships and brick walls we faced.
Terri was always punctual and willing to give up her weekends to show us even just one listing. She squeezed us in between prom, vacation, and doctor appointments, never making us feel like we were just “buyers.” She truly gives one-on-one attention and is driven to find exactly what you want. While looking at listings, Terri was always very honest of the condition of the house. If she noticed something was a problem or something that our particular situation would rather avoid having to deal with, she would speak up. She was never pushy and never tried to corral us into a decision; it was very easy to look at houses at our own pace and spend the time we desired in each home. I always felt confident that Terri would not let us walk into something that we could not handle or that we might regret. She took care of us and offered her honest opinion when asked. Overall, our experience with Terri has been wonderful. She is cheerful, discerning, committed, and most of all, a warm and assuring person to deal with. When we lost hope, Terri beckoned us to walk past the downfall and ensured that the perfect home was awaiting us at the end of the tunnel. We highly recommend Terri for any realty need you may have.
